Maximizing Diversity

A friend and I have played many Skirmish battles, but used a random number generator to decide the parameters. We use Pot Luck sides based on the following tables:
We dismissed Mountains terrain, and made Open Battle and Agricultural terrain account to half of the battles. The army list always uses the available FOG2 Mod, but weighted them according to the length of the period modeled. We also use Auto Force Selection to avoid the "gamey" user selection of units after seeing the terrain layout.
I would love to see an English Civil War FOG2 Mod.
