One Drive

In Windows when you download community content it goes into the Documents folder which is duplicated on One Drive, am not understanding this well but I think that is how it works.
If you put too much into One Drive then it fills up and you would have to pay for extra storage.

Is there any way to direct the game to store this somewhere else, given that it is just data and doesn't need to be backed up ?

Is it the game backing up, or your computer and its settings?

Maybe you can turn off backing up to One Drive, fully or selectively? Check HERE.

You can tell the game to use a different folder for all your local files in the following manner:

https://archonwiki.slitherine.com/index ... edirection

You just need to have the redirect.txt file inside your Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2/ folder. Add line with the following format to the file:

FOLDER E:/SOMEWHERE/

for example. When you run the game it will act as if it has been newly installed. You can then copy any files etc you wish into the folder.
