how i change battlespeed? in user text

i remeber there being a way to speed uyp battles in user text, but cant remember exactly how, someone please help, thanx < i know legion is old school, considering, but i still enjoy to play,,thanx.

Have a look in the tweaks.txt file for clues & if that doesn't help let me know. I think all you need to do is copy the line from tweaks to user.txt and change the setting.

thank you for reply. i think il figure it out, just dont remeber if lower setting is faster or slower, in tweaks its typed ( Battleseed ) not Battlespeed,, no "P" is that typo,? in user text i typed in Battlespeed 20 but nothing happened, i tried 30, 40 still nothing, why?? im confused, anything at all i will apreciate, thank you

Battleseed is something different so that wont help. I cant see any way to control batle speed in the files - maybe it was never there?

You can... it was introduced in version 1.06b!
This is from the read-me!
The battle speed can be tweaked from the user.txt file by adding a line "BattleSpeed #" to the user.txt file in your data directory, where # is a number between 1 and 255. The default value is 40, higher values will slow the battles down and lower values will speed up the battles. The lower the value the faster the battles will run, up to the point where your PC is running flat out, but this will be different for every PC.
