Does anyone use them and if so, what's your opinion?

I like them on the vast Battlefield Europe map, both for flavor and for their range (especially with Addon).
Positioning and planning are key and it takes some time to get used to them (similar to other siege artillery that has no movement when in firing mode).

In the unmodded game they are imho just a flavor unit, when the super unit spam becomes boring.

I bought one during the GC East campaign, when I had plenty of prestige and the scenario had a lot of rails - mainly for the 4 range. It ended up being a bit of a luxury as the rails often don't go where you want them to. Also, later on in the campaign when I was trying to deploy as few units as possible to keep the soft cap low, it wasn't valuable enough to use.

Only in Sevastopol really... and a bit during BE...

During my first attempt at BE I didn't find it too useful though and had it parked around Moscow for a long time... best to use it on Odessa, Leningrad and Moscow and then tbd... Wurfrahmen are much better IMHO))
