After buying AO1946 on the slith store i noticed that the serial number and the steam key are identical.
This is a first, for all other dlcs serial and steam key differ.
This is the result when trying to activate on steam.
Any advice how to solve this would be nice.
sers,
Thomas

For anyone with the Steam version, GMG is selling this at sale for £6.
Which, is a massive bargain compared to the £15 it is on Steam.
The next cheapest is £8 on Epic games store.
Anyway, for £6, I'm not going to say no.

I have the same exact experience. Serial number and Steam code are identical and doesn't work on Steam.

This DLC is set in 46-47. Before this DLC, a lot of units in the game expired on 01.01.1946, and for this release we adjusted unit table, so that they expire in 1948 instead. But if you have any mods installed which were created before 1946, then they are likely adjusting the units back to expiring in 1946. All such mods need to be deactivated before AO1946 can be run properly.

By the by, does this AO: 1946 mean there's no plans for an AO: Afrika Corps, or to cover the Western front (historical or otherwise) going forward?

There is no next Axis Operations DLC entering production right after AO1946, we are definitely taking a break with this series, and we are going to give more attention to allied content in the near future. Does this mean no more Axis Operations ever - at this point I don't know. This will depend on Kerensky, the creator of the series. If at some point he feels inspired to make more then he will.

Perfectly understandable, the game needs some fresh angle in the form of allied and Pacific options. This is important both for the narrative freshness and to expand the unit roster further. Also, Kerensky needs to travel to some tropical island to enjoy the sun and drinks for a few months to regenerate.

To many reproducible crashes in the new DLC. And another only storytelling missions. So the last good AO DLC is still 1942.

That's cool, I'd like Allied stuff too.
Wouldn't mind a genuine Russian grand campaign too, because they have such a huge variety of theatres themselves.

Thx for the informations. I really hope that there will be some more AO Content in the future (AOwest or AfrikaCorps) but allied content sounds great! The best news for me is:
there will be more DLCS (i know pacific is in the pipeline) for PanzerCorps, great news!
