Whats going on with the server?

Last 2 days cant log on to the multiplayer server. Over the last several weeks this has not been uncommon, though not had it for 2 consecutive days before. More errors on multiplayer game save, longer load times for the multiplayer active game list of my various matches.
It feels as though there is an issue here with the server...?
