Finished the grindy GC East on Rommel and wanted to try out GC West next.

How do the two campaigns compare, in terms of difficulty and fun?

For those that played both

I was going to import my elite core at first but they are ridiculously strong for the unexperienced enemy, so it's probably more sensible to use whatever units I get without importing. Again, on Rommel difficulty.

The first major difference that I see is that the missions don't seem to be the classic blitzkrieg ones, but rather there are specific mission objectives along with a few surprises from the enemy thrown in as well.

Played both GC West is fun too.
Main difference is that leads to Sea Lion and victory at the end.
Maps are rather more difficult in terms of Allied air superiority but in terms of armor Germans have an advantage.
Definitely try it, but without importing we are going to miss some valuable heroes you got already
