Mac Version Easily Viable Now

Slitherine has a long history of bitterness against Apple and Apple users which played out as a briefly available and buggy 32-bit Mac version of PzC that no longer works and which was outsourced to a foreign porting house. Slitherine's main grievance is that Apple didn't provide them an easy way to port from other platforms and didn't maintain backward compatibility forever.
Fast forward to today. Apple provides both a simple way to get the iPad version running on Apple Silicon Macs, and a simple way to get the PC version working on Macs. Apple has essentially given Slitherine everything they claimed to want. So will Slitherine make a make version of PzC, which would only take a couple days, or were the complaints in bad faith all along?
