Sign up below with your Home Army, all maps are 'Pot Luck.
Please do NOT edit your entry. If you change your mind about something then post a new entry, I will not be reviewing old posts after they have been processed.
This is a new period using the excellent Silk Road mod developed by jomni and wzfcns. It features an extensive list of armies covering China and the adjacent regions. Note that we are using v5.23, not v1.7.
To download the Silk Road mod click the globe button (top left on the first screen when you load up the game – Download Community scenarios) and then pick:
Silk Road SP v5.23
Silk Road MP v5.23
And hit the ‘Download Selected Campaign’ button after each. Note that v1.7 has been superseded.
You can use any Silk Road army. Give the army name and it's dates (e.g. Chinese (Han) 200-106 BC). You have to load the Silk Road module to bring up the list of armies. If you are not sure if it is a Silk Road army read the description or look at their listed opponents or see the list below.
For when the competition starts some Silk Road armies have Western armies listed as historical opponents that should not be allowed. Only reasonable AWAY armies are permitted; Indian, Scythian..., nothing like Byzantine, Arab etc.
There are NO Allies.
You may not select an Army list that has already been chosen, however there are no restrictions on multiple armies of the same nationality as long as they are for different dates.
You don't need any DLCs to enter, the mod is a free download.
By entering you are agreeing to abide by the rules https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=113133 and are committing to completing 8 games in the 8 week time period, If you are unable to commit to this then do not enter.
The competition runs from 22nd October – 17th December (8 weeks) – starts during the last week of the group stage of the WTC.
For the Silk Road period all map types are Pot Luck.
My hope is that players will select some of the less used armies as with them all being mirror matches picking a 'poor' army doesn't have the usual disadvantages !
Registration will close on or before 21st October..
If more entries come in after the spaces are taken I will open up another division.
