Game always crashes when loading a new scenario

Hi all,
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with the following issue.
Starting with Koloszvar Mission from 1944 dlc I finish the scenario and get to the loading screen to the next mission/scenario. In this case Ploesti. There is this graphical bubble/chess board effect on the loading screen which I think is supposed to be something like a loading bar or loading progression visualisation. I always get almost to the end and then the game chrashes. That means I get thrown to the destop with the UE4 chrash reporter.
The UE4 report always states the same problem:
Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000530
I can send my save to somebody else and let him load the next scenario, save on turn 0 and send me the save back. Then I can load this save just fine.
The crash is now always happening after finishing a scenario when loading into the next in the following missions. That means also in 1945 dlc. Always right at the end of the loading progression and UE4 always shows the same error.
I tried restarting the 1944 campaign and was able to progress normally and load into new scenarios up to Kolosvar. Then the crash returned. I also tried completly reinstalling the game and updating the graphics driver. Didn't help.
Attached documents:
dxDiag
Textfile with UE4 crash report
CrashContext.runtime xml
a save from the end of scenario where, when I progress it crashes for me
TerrainLog
Thank you for your help!

without looking at ur files my guess is u turned of a mod that is changing units u had active when first starting that scenario.
if my guess is correct the only way to solve this is either remove all modded units from ur core or turn the mod back on.
sers,
Thomas

Unfortunatly, I don't have and never had any mods installed. Nor did I replay the whole 1944 dlc and turn off a mod again at kolosvar to get the same error again. And as far as I know, my brother, who is able to load my save and progress to the next scenario without crashing, does not have any mods installed either.
So I guess that's not it.

PanzerCorps2_Win64_Shipping!AUnitActor::AssembleBody() [C:\Projects\PanzerCorps2\SVN\trunk\Source\Unit\UnitActor.cpp:291]
this line is from ur crash report. u have a unit in ur core that is no longer in the units.csv of the game. how or why that was changed i cannot say.
u can try to reinstall the game or verify the files in steam if using steam.
sers,
Thomas

Uninstalling and freshly installing was one of the first things I tried. Didn't change anything. I also already tried the verify files function from steam before but just tried again now anyway. -> 43359 files successfully verified. Nothing unusual.
Is there a new unit or something you get during kolosvar? I can't remember just now. And why would it only effect my system and noone else?
Thank you for caring anyway!

i crash as well when trying to progress from ur save file. i don´t have the tools needed to desect the file and pinpoint exactly what is wrong with it. the crash reports points to a faulty unit in the core that does not exist.

Thomas

GAME CRASHING TO DESKTOP:
SOLUTION!!!:
Go-To the "STEAM Webpage"... Then... to the heading... "steam"... then to "downloads"... then to "clear download cache". This effort in conjunction with entirely deleting your current PC2 Game... will clear the nefarious obstruction to operating your Game.
Finally!... do a clean "Re-Install". This procedure should end your dillema!.

Does the uninstall button in steam count as "entirely deleting your current PC2 Game" or would that need additional steps? Like deleting folders in \documents or %appdata% etc?
Thank you for your advice.

I had exactly the same or very similar issue at one time in the past... and so to resolve it... what i did is what i have just written for you... chances are it should work without a host of extra steps that you have just mentioned.

Tried it twice now.
First just clearing steam download cache -> uninstall -> reinstall -> crash remained
Second try clear download cache -> uninstall -> delete %appdata% and /documents -> clear download cache again (just because) -> reinstall -> crash still happening
In both cases UE4 crash report is identical to the one before.

Hmmm?... that should have worked!. The only other thing else that could have been executed... would have been to do a "Verification of the integrity of your Install"... in order to make sure that your "Re-Install" is in good-order.
If that doesn't do it... then you must have some other nuisance issue at play that i am unfamiliar with... so!... the best bet then would be to consult with "Grondel or even Kerensky" or someone else of that caliber to assist you with this investigation effort!.

Ok, so since Retributarrs advice didn't help in my specific case, do you know how I can find out what unit of my core might cause the crash? Since you say you don't have the necessary tools to do so, do you know who does?
Or any other suggestions what I could try?
Please

first u need to find the cause.
what i would is:
step 1: Delete all ur units and captured equipment before finishing the scenario and see if that fixes the issue. if u using limited stock clear all stock as well.
if no i don´t know what else might cause it.
if yes:
narrow it down until u know exactly which is causing it.
hope u will find it.
sers,
Thomas

Ok, so weird stuff is happening. I did only have the kolosvar save when when all objectives were already accomplished and you only needed to click proceed to next mission (the "view battlefield" view from the aftermisson report). You cannot delete units there.
As I said, I could let my brother proceed to the next mission, send me the save back and keep on playing that way. So I took a save from another later mission where I had a save right before the end and but also before finishing all objectives.
You were correct, the game doesn't like my two best artys anymore. I can keep their heroes but it seems the units have to go.
The weird thing is that I now can progress to the next mission in kolosvar. The same save that always crashed. Both of these 'bad' arty units are present there as well.
