On balance of BK/PK/ES campaigns

I always find myself short of RP in these campaigns. After repairing the damaged units and upgrading a single unit from one scenario to the next, I have only 200/300 RP left just enough for battle replacements. Seeing how many equipment types the Germany has, which I cannot afford to buy, is kind of disappointing. I would have prefered higher RP gain at the increase of scenarios difficulty, such as shortening the number of turns (I often finish them in half of the time required to complete) or adding more secondary objectives that offer RP

BK/PK/ES = same scenario designer ?

I agree with you especially as we can not choose how much we want to increase the strength, the game leaves no choice, it calculates for the maximum each time. You have to choose which unit to start with.
Some units have a better quality/price ratio than others.

BK maps have more RP with the V10 update. In general the amount is not meant to support an all-elite army, so best is to mix elite and green reinforcements.

On normal at least it should allow for a decent army with at least some of the top tier units available. Most important is to cut own losses by using arty/air support where possible and AT backup.

I'm not complaining about difficulty. The campaigns can definitely be won by only using cheap units of every class. But the prestige is so tight that you don't get to experiment with a LOT of units Germans have in their equipment roster. Yes, I can afford a couple of Tiger tanks, but then a self-propelled arty in 1943? Nope. Got a strategic bomber early in the campaign? Forget about upgrading it to another model, looks like you're going to stick with it for the remainder of the campaign. Paratroopers? They seem safe to use only in groups of at least three, so again not an option.

My suggestion would be to increase the RPs while making the scenarios more challenging, or at least the secondary objectives, because currently it's easy to achieve all of them on middle difficulty. As I see it, this will encourage creativity by solving a more difficult problem with a multitude of tools at disposition, instead of always moving towards objectives at a safe pace to preserve RPs.

Anyway glad to hear that BK offers more RPs now. I will surely play it again.

I didnt throw myself to the hardest difficulty, there's no game that gives player abundant resources at hardest.
Some of my first runs, i engaged the short of RPs, which leave me just around 100 before starting. Then, i realized that i didn't play the way OoB should be.
1, BK scenarios mostly depend on light units (inf, light AT, light Arty). I ended up with just 3 tanks in roster. Tanks are not strong at this time because the 88s did most of the hard works. So even having more RPs, i haved nothing to spend here.
2, You really need and have access to better tanks from Kharkov offensive. But OoB does not give us discount when upgrading to newer units, but does when upgrade from wounded unit (free elite reinforcement). So, better we try to ultilize some crippled units (7-9 strength) before upgrading. Work with all types of units except for Aircraft as it's much easier to lose them.
3, Calib the average experience of units. Star is important but the more experience, the more expensive. I just leave most of my units (except for extraodinary one like tanks) around 2-3 stars, and just let auto elite reinforcement at 2/3 campaign.

Then i just drowning in RPs from half the campaigns, having all loved gears needed. But from the start of each campagin you suppose to be poor.
At start of PK i even needed to downgrade most of arty just to fulfill all slots.

p/s: The only thing can delete my eco strategy is Allies strategic bombers. They're too tough to be wounded and having little reason to upgrade because of it's cost. No matter how good i do, saving money for them to continously upgrade is impossible.
