Hello all, I should know this by now, but sadly I don't, how do I load my troops through a harbor/port facility to avoid efficiency cost etc.?

Nothing much you can do but to board through a region with the biggest possible harbor...

I was talking more mechanics, did I have to move an army onto a ship icon etc.??? Thanks anyway.

Sorry for the belated answer, on vacation till August 12th.

There are no permanent and dedicated transport units. Your land units will automatically convert into transport ships once you plot a move into the sea.
