Tournament in Austin, TX USA - August 29 & 30
Posted: Mon Jun 22, 2009 6:22 pm
FOG Tournament - At Great Hall Games, Austin, Texas
Format
Participants are signing up to play in 3 - 5 games over two days. Three games will be offered on Saturday and two on Sunday. You will be scored on your three best games. So if you only play three games, that is OK, as these will be your best three. If you play up to five games, we'll take the total of your best three.
Divisions
We will have two divisions, Classical and Chivalric. Armies before 1040 will all be in the Classical division and armies from 1040 in the Chivalric division. If your army spans that divide, you will need to declare the year of your army to determine your division. For example, if you play Normans in 1066, then you will play in the Chivalric division, while Normans in 1000 will play in the Classical division. (The break point is based on the rise of Knights.)
When
August 29 and 30.
We'll begin early on Saturday and play all day to get in three rounds. Then we'll open early on Sunday to continue and allow the possibility of two games on Sunday.
Armies and Lists
15mm and 10mm (based on 15mm bases). 800 points. One list. (If you are willing to play in either division, you can submit two lists, one for Classical and one for Chivalric; these lists do not have to be the same army. Once you have decalred for a division, you will remain in that division for the entire tournament.)
Fees
$15.00 for Lone Star Historical Miniatures member. $20.00 for non-members (includes $5.00 membership fee).
