I'm trying to take my Deployment phase and the connection fails whenever I submit my turn. I know the connection is fine though as I'm able to submit Leros turns against Pupski.

Any thoughts? Could it be my troop picks? I'm picking 3 Gurkhas and a recon A/C

I am getting a connection error right now twice while trying to upload the first tournament turn. Just played 8 other turns today which worked just fine.

See here, there's a configuration error on the server such that the Tournament games aren't being setup correctly. We're working on a fix!
