Just saying.

Then use hatrene allies with the Parthian list, you get a nice bg of 4 of them.

Wouldn't the Tuaregs get a load?

Nope, they don't get Heavily armoured Camels, the rumour mill suggests armoured or protected.
Will Tuaregs be - la sw or - ls sw ?

Well Lt Sp would allow them to evade. Perhaps not their normal MO.

Well, even if that's true, it wouldn't stop me from making them LOOK like Camelphracts

.
Actually, thinking about it:
On Impact, 4 Knightly Lance = 6 disordered dice advantaged vs 8 ordered dice disadvantaged...
So, an average of 3 hits vs 2.66 hits - pretty close - very much comes down to luck.
In Melee it stays the same due to armour giving the knights the advantage and sword cancelling each other out.
I'd suggest the Knights would like this match up the least as they are going to die to attrition more often than the Camels.
Hmm...

But that takes 8 camels against 4 Knights. The knights are less likely to lose so will lose less bases by a long way. 144, i think, pts of camels v's 92 pts of Knights

Why do you say they're going to lose a lot less by a long way?
It's 2.66 vs 3 hits each turn. It's only a roll of the dice either way. If the Knights lose ANY base it's pretty much all over. If the Camels lose a base but don't lose cohesion then they are still in with a chance.
Your commen about points, whilst valid in many ways, doesn't seem to be in agreement with what you said over
there (pointing to the Chariots vs Shooty Cavalry thread)

I 'm a cynic. I like to take a contrary position. There wouldn't be much traffic here if we all agreed with eash other.

We'd all be happy with the status quo.
This is the right room for an argument

No it's not.
