Does it pull data during play or only when a game's finished?

Is it a total score or a composite?
Meaning, could you just play a lot of games and be number 1 because you have so many accumulated, totalled scores?
What about a win/loss record?

Scores are updated when the game finishes and there's a winner.

It uses Elo ratings, like chess, so yes, more games is more opportunities to get points, but you need to be beating players of a similar or higher rank to you to climb

FWIW, we're going to reset the Beta rankings table. Mostly as a test to be sure that it works properly and so that we can do it in the live environment.
