Hello, is there a mod depicting images of destroyed units?
You know immobilized tanks, destroyed trucks and artillery pieces etc.

It would be a nice addition to the battlefields of scenarios.

I've thought about this as well, but I haven't come up with any ideas, nor do I know of any mods. If you want terrain tiles that show destroyed equipment throughout the scenario, that would doable. Somewhere on the forum, maybe Guille's thread, I saw some icons that would work for this idea. If you want destroyed equipment to appear when a battlefield condition is met, I think it would be a lot more complicated.

I remember PG 2 having an effect that showed some burnt ground or something whenever a unit was destroyed in an "overrun" attack. Some sort of battle aftermath type effect would be cool.

Will it be possible to move around this cage on which the damaged and destroyed equipment will be depicted ) Or will it be like a hex ice tile in winter on which you can move without problems)?

My idea is to use such images for depicting destroyed units on battlefields, then these units could be included in the equipment file and used for decoration purposes on a map / scenario.

To make things more interesting, these units using a Mod, could have reduced attack and defense stats, for example a T34 immobile with zero HA but having a min soft defense value.

For the scenery, you'll have to do it)

I think that there were one or two in Puma's equipment files, but with DMP shut down it's not so easy to find them. I have a suspicion that jeffoot saved most or all of them and has posted a link.

A simple fix which I have used was to get a flame or smoke icon from somewhere and paste it onto the unit (I usually use paint.net). Presto, a burning or burnt unit! It won't win a prize for best graphics but does the job well enough.

I would usually use it as a structure which has to be removed to free up access or as a part of a victory condition, or maybe to collect a captured unit. Of course you could have an immobile actual unit with either passive or active attack (Audie Murphy and his M10).

thanks for the tips, maybe I can try them, if I can not find any other solution
