All,

It seems it will be viable to add an extra event in November on Sunday 19. Can I get an indication of interest from everyone please. What might be the theme? Personally, I would like us to have a second 25mm event, probably open. Views on this question too please.

Tom,

I should be available for this and would prefer 25mm open as you suggest.

Chris Beesley tells me that he has replied to you by email, stating preference for 25s. His text ...

"Although appreciating not all have the wide choice of 25s some of us have, in response to his suggestion to go "open" I suggested pre 1575 with no mf muskets or impact pistol, although not dissimilar to the last 15s comp, at oxford. Happy to go with the flow, and if 15s were pursued, one of the more esoteric themes suggested by Bob last year (I have mislaid the list) could be interesting."

I would also be happy with pre 1575 as Chris suggests.

Thanks Ray, yes I got Chris’ email.

No other views than these as yet. I guess we can wait until the event on 11 th June before finalising it.

We discussed the proposed extra round when we met on 11th June.

It was agreed that the date of 19th November would work and that the theme should be a 25mm open round. As with our other 25mm round, in December, it will be 650 points on a 6ftx4ft table. Deployment as per rules but the baggage camp reduced to half size.
