How could I make a new map rather than copy AEP.BAM?

I tried to load some existed dds files but the editor crash. What should I do first?
While creating a new scenario, I load AEP.dds as Map Image and AEPHeight.tga as Height Map Image. I left all other options default.
Then the editor crashed with an alert. It said Script Error in Data/Scripts/MAP.BSF Unexpected token: $ID_REG_MARE_ARALIS Context: FUNCTION InitMap blahblah
So what is wrong?
