I thought there might be a mod for this already, but not finding it, assembled one:

Panzer General 1 Music For Panzer Corps ReadMe v1.0

Stitched up music from PZ1 to play in Panzer Corps, a game in my view which had a frolicking yet authoritative grand tune of a soundtrack.

Place the contents in
X:\YourInstallPath\Steam\steamapps\common\Panzer Corps\Audio\Music

Archive Contents
PG1ingame0.mp3
menu.mp3
music.pzdat

Backup anything likely to be overwritten such as music.pzdat.

Run the game

Errata

Would like to have broken it up the tracks into more appropriate sections, instead of stitching into a large combined mp3, however for whatever reason the ingame tracks kept playing over and over without moving on to the next track, a known issue see:

[tracks kept playing over and over without moving on to the next one]

It won't work unfortunately. I have ask the game designers and they said the only way to get them all in [different tracks] was to make one massive MP3. if you load multiple mp3s in the music folder it will just play one song over and over.

THANKS Im going to look at the other audio editing programs you posted, always looking for an easy to use music editor!

>>If you can put only one song, then you need to glue everything into one so that it would play non-stop all the time)<<
Yes, that is what I did with AudioCity:

--menu.mp3= intro track(plays when you open the game just like PG1)
--PG1ingame0.mp3=All others stitched together; though the main field music is added 2x more interspaced with the other shorter tracks to extend time it will played on the map before repeating.
