When Gias belssing is cast it seems opften it dosent apply its affect on unrest reduction, you need to be inside the city and change the global tax rate, I belive the next turn for it to work sometimes.

It dosnet apear to be just visual as your gold erand dose not go up, nore are units build faster, or higher levels of food produced untill you force that change. +

I've only been using G.B. for the terraforming chance and the population boost. I have not really taken a hard look at the unrest, but I have been playing on introductory settings - including the economy. I'm wondering if the unrest is attached to that setting, because I have found this version much more forgiving in that regard. Again, that could be due to my settings for random map generation/gameplay.
