Let's bomb London in WWⅠ era. oh I'm not a terrorist.

build huge Zeppelin, search grand fleet in North Sea, and report it to the High Sea Fleet.
Search Atlantic, and attack merchant ship from above, or direct U-boots and massacre convoys.

And turn London into flaming hell.

there are many archenemies of you waiting over there. Fighterplanes, enemy anti-air-artilleries, malicious weather, and so on.

I played a WWI fighter game many years ago. It was hex based & turn based and great fun. Sometimes this does not convert well to the PC but sometimes it does :)

the point is players are on the German side. They are great enthusiasts for Zeppelin.
And want to prove rigid airship is effective even in world war.

So turn-based, hex-based sometimes means the nimble fighters tends to be popular, that is what I'm worrying.
I want Zepplein to be the star, even though they are not suitable for strategic bombing, and later Goda bomber took their places.

A funny thing happens when you take a row of tracer bullets and send them in a long line from one end of a dirigible to the other.....absolutely nothing!

The tracer rounds burn brightly in the air, then suddenly punch through the gas cells into relatively pure hydrogen, which doesn't burn because there's no oxygen. The round goes out. A moment later, it rips out the other side and suddenly reignites, harmlessly (provided it doesn't hit something else).

Now, if you take a SECOND PASS at the leaking dirigible, there's all sorts of flammable gas surrounding the leaks, and the potential for a lot of spectacular fireworks!

well, I never want to be assigned on the top of Zeppelin's anti-air-machinegun post.

Underneath your feet, sea of H2.
