Like many others, I adore the new "limited stock" approach and have frequently enjoyed it. It concerned me greatly that every model type gets the exact same quantity added in every scenario and I know that many of the folks who are here WWII nerds like me also complain. There are several types in the game that are actually produced in relatively small quantities in history while there are other model types that were available in larger quantities, therefore I wanted to develop a system that mimics real production numbers.I discovered that doing it is actually fairly simple. You only need to copy paste the numbers below to the "Limited Availability pool" or "Captured Equipment pool" in the scenario editor. [Edit - Scenario Params - Players - Equipment pools]

I myself play the game with Italians.I edited all the avaiable official and user scenarios (thanks to brilliant people like Peterw) to create a 62 scenario long Italian campaign. So, in this message, I will present the production data I had prepared for it. Copy paste the values to the first scenario of a year. (I actually have the data monthly but this requires way less labor) and start the campaign with "1" Limited Stock value.

I'll soon do the same for the Germans.

Notes: Captured equipment is not captured quipment but represents types that Italy bought or received during the war or important types that are missing in the game. I added BA-10 instead of Fiat 611 and Ba-64 for Autoprotetto TL 37. Italy produced a licensed copy of Daimler Dingo which is called Lince so I added it as Daimler Dingo.

Greetings and good luck with your Italian run. This nice edit really helps do what Limited stock can even further expand upon, thanks for sharing the details on how to apply it, it's inspiring for potential ruins for sure. That said, using this means that without Field Repairs heroes things like the Panzer IVG are not usable really, at least not realistically.

I used a somewhat similar approach to one of my runs (Retrograde), but since that started before limited stock was a thing, I applied a calculation adjustment to what I can buy. All such restrictions are always fun to brew with, as they go beyond the limitations of the prestige system and make the game more challenging. Of course getting production figures can sometimes be really challenging, so I'm quite curious about what you will have in store for German equipment and how it compares against some of the calculations I used, even if mine were totals, not per year.

Like I have promised here is the code you need for the German campaigns.The numbers below are the actual number of equipment the Germans produced at all times. You can put a multiplier in front of it depending on the length of the scenario you are playing. In my experience, if you have a scenario around 70 maps long, you can base it on a multiplier like 1/10.
