Do you guys have some strategies or Locations in the AO campaign were you can best farm the Survivor Skill for Land Units?

On the first scw mission, if you keep an unit down in the city and OS it you can easily farm survivor 3 on it. All those english ships will enjo attacking it and if 2 enemy destroyers are next to your ground unit and you attack, surv 3 if your unit is fully healed and OS 15.

2 Sea Lion missions work nearly the same. The first is that one, where you are supposed to lose the Blücher and Bismark (never! ) You can place 1 unit down, and the enemy aircraft and ships will enjoy attacking it, its a good oppurtunity to farm surv 3 on more than 1 unit, but never place 2 units down at the same time if you want surv 3.

the other mission is where you take revenge for the (not sunken(!)) Blücher, its a little more awkward to farm surv 1-3 on them, but it is still possible.

On normal maps you can farm survivor 1 at least by exposing units on most maps, but it is risky and expensive.

The easist way to farm it on tough (!) tanks is, steamrolling a bunch of enemies without moving to much, get rid of all ammunition and then use the movement to expose it heavily....but again its risky. The two traits that reduce your ammunition helps a lot. The AI will attack your units if they are out of ammo like a moron with all it got.

Aside from the above, you could run units into multiple support fire situations, by these might be hard to come by for ground units, they mostly appear for air ones (Dunkirk and the air only Stalingrad scenario). Rather than in specific missions, there might be map situations that form like this themselves, but this might be risky if it's close to a larger force.

Another thing - it is very easy to farm survivor on self-propelled anti-tanks vs. infantry, especially the Panzer I Berda in SCW. The AI loves attacking them since they do not get shot heavily in return, so you can set up some favorable situations for this class.

In the North East [17.3] there is a Strongpoint with 2 Art and 2 Forts in defense range.
Since an additional Art supports the strongpoint one can collect GD2 survivor on your infantry that attacks it.
You attack [2 attacks], they attack back [6 more attacks]

Just make sure you don't kill it. Leave only one unit in range of the Art and Forts.
Works With Bridge Engineers and other soft targets.

AO 39 Orenthal: You can get lvl 3 Survivor every round for any ground unit (so 19 in total).

and while you do that it is still possible to get both bonus objectives

AO 40 Eben-Emael - you can get lvl 3 Survivor every round (12 total, 1st round can be only paratrooper with double attack hero)
