graphics in 1944 campaign

Hello,
Playing 1944 campaign and I am not happy with the graphic design of all units. Is there something different regarding to the last campaigns? In my opinion units look strange, some kind of 2D. Sometimes I can not find them on the map. They are also not so detailed as in other scenarios. Settings are the same. Anyone else with this problems?
