I decided to do a second run thru AO1944 to pickup the elite hero from the first scenario. In the first run thru Fast Forward was working just fine but in the second run thru it has no effect. Did a patch break it?

Sometimes this issue appears for me aswell. Turning it off and on again fixes it for me in most cases.
