Slitherine

So I'm playing the Burma campaign and at the Battle of Sittang Ridge scenario I encountered a bug. I am supposed to "Evacuate the 1st Indian Unit" but even though I took Sittang on turn 9 and dealt with the counter attack from the North and the jungle the Indian unit never shows up. There is a Colonial Infantry '41 unit near the deployment zone but I don't control them and in the first few turns they foolishly attacked a Japanese Heavy Infantry unit in Sabogaung and got beaten down to 1 strength. They then sat in the jungle for the rest of the scenario. Where is the Indian unit?

Yes, it's them!
And you let the Japs beat them down to a pulp and with that amount of post-traumatic stress, they're just afraid to do anything now...
