Battle of the Bulge allies.

In battle of the bulge I get two event pictures come up close together after about turn 8. They have no readable message with the picture. Looks like programming text. Nothing happens. Should it be reinforcements? With out them it is impossible to win. Is this a glitch and how do we solve it please.
