15mm 850 AP 6 x 4 tables using version 3.1

The theme is ‘Elephants’.

Any army, any date, but it or an Ally must field at least 2 BGs of Elephants.

No more than 32 bases of Pike and/ or Skilled Swordsmen are permitted.

List checker & deadline TBC.

Phil Powell has kindly agreed to check the army lists for this event.

Please send your list to Phil at fogamlists@bhgs.org.uk by Friday the 3rd February.

We now have 10 entries. Last year no mats were provided so if you able to bring a cloth or a mat for your table that would be great.

We are 10 for Beachhead next weekend. Lists are due to Phil by close of play today please. 7 lists received and checked so far.

I did the 1st round draw with David Bannister last night. I will publish this once all lists are in. I’ve ensured club members don’t play each in R1 but with 4 players from Oxford that has to be relaxed for subsequent rounds. With no Ruddock and his laptop I will maintain the scores from round to round. I’ll be using the scoresheets from the BHGS website.

Please remember we need to supply cloths / mats. I can bring 1. Volunteers for the other 4?

The venue will be open from 8.00 am on Saturday morning.

Please aim to be there before 9.00 am to register. I will aim to be there for 8.30 am. Ideally the first round should start at 9.15 am. Allowing 3 hours 15 minutes per game sees us finish at 12.30 pm. As it's a big show let's take 90 minutes for lunch and resume at 2.00 pm.

On Sunday I suggest an earlier start time of 9.00 am. I hour for lunch so restart at 1.15 pm with a 4.30 pm finish.

That should allow us to get cleared away by 5.00 pm.
