Pretty much what's on the title.
Two texture replacers, one for the map and one for the border around the map.
Open the images in a new tab to see the details, it's not likely to be noticeable in the thread.
The border was enhanced using an AI tool, ESRGAN. The map itself was enhanced via Photoshop with the Oil Paint filter.
I tried to get the texture resolution quite a bit higher than this for the map but unfortunately it seems there's a limit around 16k px per side. Should be a little nicer to zoom in on details of the map or cities now.

Installation:
Just drag and drop the data folder to your game directory. If you somehow mess anything up I included the original files in <Data/MAPS/Original Files> so it shouldn't be complicated to revert back to what you had.

Nice work, congrats! Somehow the map seems more stylized with your approach. If you look e.g. at the Dalmatian coasts, it seems more 'whirly' ...

Thanks! Yeah, that'd be the filter. After looking at it again I wasn't happy with the water and updated it with a few alternates. Speaking of which I keep trying to edit the original post but I keep getting an error that "This message seems to be spam" so I guess now I'm locked out of editing the thread. Is there a way to fix this?

I guess for now unfortunately until this thread wants to cooperate with me I'm just going to have to post the update as a comment.

Installation:
Just drag and drop the data folder to your game directory. If you like the alternative maps, copy and paste those files in to the Data/MAPS directory and overwrite what's there. If you somehow mess anything up I included the original files in <Data/MAPS/Original Files> so it shouldn't be complicated to revert back to what you had. I would strongly suggest backing up files before replacing anything in case you change your mind.

For anyone curious, a lot of the faction name changes are coming from the Ode to Europa Barbarorum mod by Wulfburk.

Really nice maps, unfortunately the latest download link does not work, the latest one point to Yahoo.
Hope it can be corrected,
