How would I go about changing the commander trait that lets you add more hero's to units? Where would I find that in the files?
With the Rules.json fileThunderhog wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 1:15 pm How would I go about changing the commander trait that lets you add more hero's to units? Where would I find that in the files?
It seems to let me change how many commander points it costs to take at the start of a campaign, but not edit how many hero's it actually adds.tpoo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 2:03 pmWith the Rules.json fileThunderhog wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 1:15 pm How would I go about changing the commander trait that lets you add more hero's to units? You can change the number of heroes that a unit can have in the Rules.json file, like they can have only 1,4 etc. There is no way that I know of to change how many heroes you get per turn in a campaign. Although the editor has a box for that it is not active.Thunderhog wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 2:15 pmIt seems to let me change how many commander points it costs to take at the start of a campaign, but not edit how many hero's it actually adds.tpoo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 2:03 pmWith the Rules.json fileThunderhog wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 1:15 pm How would I go about changing the commander trait that lets you add more hero's to units? Is there a scroll wheel? Because the heroes would go off the screen.Funeral wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 11:20 amActually it works!tpoo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:12 pmYou can change the number of heroes that a unit can have in the Rules.json file, like they can have only 1,4 etc. There is no way that I know of to change how many heroes you get per turn in a campaign. Put a number in that box and even when you're playing a campaign you get heroes equal to that number.
The game design called for a maximum of 3 heroes and thats what it was designed to hold. So no provision for a scroll bar.Thunderhog wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 3:26 pm

Hmm unfortunate, well a capability of 4 is more than enough.Patrick Ward wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 12:27 amThe game design called for a maximum of 3 heroes and thats what it was designed to hold. So no provision for a scroll bar.Thunderhog wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 3:26 pm
