As always , Paris itself capitulated without a fight

This is probably a tradition
https://en.topwar.ru/42700-bitva-za-par ... arizh.html
In contrast to the French soldiers of Napoleon's army, who desecrated Russian shrines in the conquered lands, the Russians behaved courteously.
After a three-month stay of Russian troops in Paris, the city was not at all affected by the foreign presence, and this has been repeatedly confirmed by French historians and writers. The French were surprised by the behavior of the Russians. They were ready for revenge for Moscow and the blood spilled, expecting the ruin of the city. But against all odds, the Parisians were wary of Russian generosity.
Life in the city continued in its usual peaceful rhythm - the shops worked, theatrical performances took place; and the Parisians filled the streets, looking at the bearded foreigners with interest and trying to talk to them.
The Russian emperor strictly ordered the military not to offend the peaceful French. So that the soldiers had no desire to loot, Alexander decided to pay them a triple annual salary. Such a policy maintained the impeccable reputation of the Russian army for a long time, allowing soldiers to relax carefree after long battles. The Cossacks felt especially free. Camped out on the Champs-Elysées, they cooked their meals over campfires and fished in the ponds of Fontainebleau. As in their native Don, the Cossacks bathed their horses in the Seine, and Parisian artists flocked to document such unprecedented activity.
As the Russian emperor later wrote in his memoirs, he enjoyed the sight of the French, mesmerized by the beauty of what was happening, approaching and laying their hands on a Russian Orthodox cross. And all this against the background of how, shortly before the events of Paris, Napoleon's army had destroyed Orthodox churches everywhere, establishing stables in Kremlin cathedrals and killing civilians right under the iconostases. The Novodevichy monastery was saved from destruction by one of the nuns, who miraculously managed to put out the ignited fuse of explosives when the French retreated.

In the Battle of Paris, the French army lost 6,000 men (3,500 killed, 2,500 wounded and prisoners).
The coalition lost 18,000 men (8,000 dead and 10,000 wounded).

There is a big difference to fight near Paris and in its backyards))) There was no resistance and battles in Paris itself , this is not Stalingrad , where every house and street could be held for weeks and months ! After the Russians, the Germans took Paris twice, we will even announce the creation of the second Reich
there)))The developers of Panzer Corps deliberately made a blunder and a historical mistake with the capture of Paris by the third Reich ....
BUT back to Napoleon , what , when will there be at least a Demo ?

Hello.
I would like to play in this fashion not only for Napoleon, but also for Kutuzov, for example). Will there be a choice of side.
And the dashing Cossack cavalry beautifully entered Paris). This unit is very important, will it be in this mod?

Don't provoke people with the "French are cowards" trope, please. This "joke" is tired and just mean spirited at this point.
Don't insult people on our forums please, I understand your frustration but you need to be above the provocations.
Thanks,
Edmon

If you have the assets and the will to do something, it would be a iittle sad to not use them to do what you want :/
I mainly follow the modern conflict topic (since it's my favororite mod) but there was problems after the beginning of the war in Ukraine. It was problematic (especially considering the sensitive nature of the mod), but the topic survived and is still used to have news about updates and to give feedback.
Those events are 2 centuries old, we can deal with them
If you want to do a BIG campaign about Napoleon, it is a very good idea ; but you attack a reeeeeeeeealy long work.
Each campaign could be a scenario (like vanilla pzcorps, it would be manageable) or each battle could be a scenario (like grand campaign : days and days and days of work ! Maybe not a good idea in my opinion).
Stick to something simple to begin with. So my first suggestion.
Introductive scenario with Toulon (few basic units like infantry and artillery) and then the first real scenario "Italy 1796". Then, you can go historical or ahistorical.
I think that scenarios at campaign level can reproduce the same feeling as the original panzer corps. An army outnumbered but striking "weak" points fast at the beginning ; a second part where advancing become hard and the loss of units become inevitable (think about Prussia) ; then a very difficult third part when you have to hold your ground against all odds.
Hope you come back

Don't waste your time about this topic, its author (no matter the user name he takes) will not, never, end any of the "mods" he proposes.
