Probably a stupid question: Why can't I build any buildings? Have played 4-5 games and everything's always grayed out, except for the castle. Always have plenty of money and most of the territory. Have been playing with all spearmen (lvls 1-3), all the time. What am I doing wrong here?

You need to turn the "advanced mode" option on (only available in skirmish games - quick start will use default settings and the campaign always has it turned on).

It migth be worth adding a tooltip on these options in normal mode saying these are only available in advanced mode?

Shouldn't be a problem - i thought that it already had them but it turns out that the tooltip was only enabled for the demo version.

Thanks! Appreciate it. Guess I 'assumed' it was already on because it looked highlighted already at the bottom. Yes, there's a tooltip over it, if you take the time to actually go over it and then click on the button
