But realistically I spend much more time testing/improving it, than playing it, using PzC scenario editor and Notepad++ (with "ElasticTabstops" plugin).

Because it provides several new gameplay options, including "cross-class" unit upgrades and in some aspects imho more historical balancing.
And especially because I want to incorporate all the feedback by JanD (AAR subforum playthrough with replays) and goose_2 (youtube playthrough).

I am awaiting Uhu's upgrades to Italy Corps so I can start again on a more doable level...just Rommel, instead of Double Rommel. Crazy town.

I completed Nico's Italy Corps when it was just on V1 level. I may visit it again after I finish uploading all those vids.

PAK Mod got to be just too much.

first off - lets mention DEDUCTER - why dd you leave us? excellent work on modding the equipment file and yt playthroughs
battlefield europe has the most "accurate" equipment file but movement values not so good for playing the DLC campaigns

that "ElasticTabstops" plugin is a boon - i've been pasting into excel, editing and pasting back over the top (in the equipment file). it works but this is obviously better - thanks Locarnus

With a few more settings and modifications (eg regarding the font), most of the equipment file fits onto a single 1920 horizontal resolution. Makes it much easier to quickly view and edit.

Alternatively you could use excel (or libre office) with very particular settings, but as far as I know, that takes a lot more steps for saving. Even though the "freeze rows and columns" option is a great advantage for users who are less accustomed to the equipment file.

I've contacted deducter and may find some time to continue the work on his equipment mod. Currently at a stymie because the 10 max firing makes the game less fun to play for me.

10 max firing? what is that?
i think that may be something you can change in the gamerule(s) files?
