Challenges.
All matches are Mirror match, 1600 points, Large/Wide map, Open Battle.
The Away player sets up the match. They can choose any historical opponent to the Home army EXCEPT that same army or their own Home army. This will allow for some Away armies to be outside of the period from 600 BC to 600 AD - that is OK. If you leave ‘DATE’ and ‘GEOGRAPHICAL’ checked that will give you the list of valid armies that you can use. The Home player should check that their opponent has used a valid army, invalid matches will have to be replayed.
There are NO Allies for either side.
Use the map that the Home army has selected, or ‘Pot Luck’ if they have not selected one.

Both players are allowed one map reroll each. You do not need to consult your opponent, just set up the game again exactly as before and PM your opponent. But only one reroll per player per match.

The competition officially runs from 9th May to 4th July (8 weeks). You can start from today.

You must set up one challenge in the first week (that is one of your two Away mirror matches). Post in this thread and PM your opponent.
You must set up your second challenge by week 5.
Please respond to all challenges within a week, either pick them up or let the challenger know when you will start.
If you don't get a response to a challenge within a week then PM me.
Once a game has been started all turns must be returned within three days, unless by prior notice. Players would generally be expected to average a turn a day or if it suits faster.
If a challenge is not posted on schedule AND the results are not posted by the end of the competition then the game will default to the opponent.

To set up your challenges.
For example, in Division A; Eric has Away games against Dreddradish and Roesdelio. He sets these up as below.
He has home games against Aetius and Stew, They will set those games up.

For the match against Dreddradish, if you look down the table you can see that Dreddradish has chosen Egyptian 664-571 BC and Potluck
So load up the game and set up a challenge, select Egyptian 664-571 BC. Leave DATE and GEOGRAPHICAL blank. That gives you in this case a fairly long list of available armies that match DATE and GEOGRAPHICAL. Pick whichever one you want, in this case I chose Babylonian.
Select LARGE BATTLE.
Enter the MAP TYPE. In this case Dreddradish had chosen Pot Luck so leave it as it is.
Then on the next page tick MIRROR and complete the Comment and Password. Post the challenge and PM your opponent.

The two challenges against Morat and Random are not right, you have to pick an army that is not your home army (Pyrrhic/Epriot) that has the same date. See the instructions on the second post of this thread.
The other two challenges against Nyczar and Holien are for them to set up, you will have your Pyrrhic army.
