Last time i have got play this battle as a mirror paired scenario.
The result was very similiar in both battles - French have got lost decisively.

A recurring scenario is that the French knights bounces off the Flemish phalanx and slowly die.

Maybe some additional tests and a little rebalance is necessary here?

BTW - the scenario is done in a very interesting way, but the French are screwed up just from the beginning, in my oppinion.

Caveat - I haven't played it as the French, and my opponent in that match is a newer player. But, gribol is quite experienced and like he said he has mirrored it.

I do not see this scenario as winnable for the French under any typical circumstances.
