Panzer Corps 2 released today for Xbox Game Pass PC.

Slitherine is pleased to announce that its World War II turn-based strategy game Panzer Corps 2 is now available on Xbox Game Pass PC.

Panzer Corps 2 follows as a spiritual successor to 1994's Panzer General - a true pioneer in the hex based WW2 genre, sees players enter battles through a variety of single player and multiplayer modes. The game features a staggering 1,000 unit types that can be commanded on the battlefield, and its single player campaign contains more than 60 unique scenarios.



Slitherine has published five DLCs for Panzer Corps 2 following its launch (Axis Operations Spanish Civil War, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942), and a new Pacific DLC is set to arrive in 2022. This upcoming DLC will be available on day one for owners of the Game Pass version, but a separate purchase will be required.

So, let's say I already own Panzer Corps 2 (purchased on Steam) and all the DLC, and I were a crazy collector who just wants to see Pz Corps 2 achievements on my Xbox gamer profile. If I were willing to buy all over again on Game Pass:
1) Does Pz Corps 2 support Xbox achievements?
2) Has Slitherine tested installing 2 copies of PC2 on the same Windows PC from different stores (Steam and Windows Store)?
3) Any known issues?
4) Any chance I can load saved games across store versions?
5) Any chance I can take core units from a saved campaign on Steam Pz Corps to a Pz Corps for Game Pass campaign?

Just following up on this gamepass release and it's achievements.

My gamepass version is 1.2.6 and it only includes the Wehrmacht campaign (none of the DLC like Spanish civ war or axis operations).

However, the base game achievements includes those for these DLC. Currently I cannot 100% complete the game achievements unless I buy 50 pounds worth of DLC.

Is my version correct? Should it include the DLC?
