Hey there,

this issue(if it even is issue) has never occured to me. It is that i cant purchase any transports for my units such as artilerry, aa or even infantry. There are simply no horses, opel blitz or anything in purchase screen. Same for volunteers. This has never happened to me and i played the game for a lot. HOWEVER there is one difference in my current run and that is i checked the option to have only LIMITED STOCK in advanced settings. While i figured it would also apply for these transports, they did not appeared even after first missions nor second, while other stocks increased/replenished. Is this bug or does this setting means you can never buy trucks/horses ? If its a feature, then its severely punishing imho. If its a bug, is there any fix or workaround ?

ever since Limit stock is available i do not play without it and i can confirm the setting is not the cause for ur disapperead transports.
tough to say what might be the cause for it. Will it always happen when u start a campaign?

Yes it always happens. And it must be actually the limited stock thingie. Because i now tested new games with various stuff checked and unchecked in advanced settings, along with traits such as retrograde and slow modernization ( as i thought it could affect this thing as well, especially retrograde). And lo and behold, once i had UNCHECKED limited stock (while having for example checked/unchecked stuff like custom army ,retrograde etc.) i could buy/attach transports on units again, but when i checked LIMITED STOCK with all the other stuff unchanged, i could not buy it anymore. So yeah it seems like LIMITED STOCK option causes this issue, unless its working as intended.
If i knew this i would never play with limited stock tbh. Its very punishing to not be able to attach transport vehicles to slow towed equipment and slow infantry like pioneers.

the limited stock option alone cannot be the cause of it, since it is not happening to me when i play with limited stock.
i suspect u are using some mods. try turning them off and see which is causing the issue.

It must be that or at least its the main root of issue, since as i said above, i tested like dozens of various combinations of settings and traits and when this issue occured, the common denominator for the issue was always LIMITED STOCK when it was checked. Whats also proves this, as i said in OP that i never ran into this issue before and i played hundreds of hours of game and several campaign runs with different setups but only now, when for the first time i checked LIMITED STOCK, this issue occured.
Also i zero mods, not even mods that just adds map or cosmetic stuff, let alone changing game mechanics. Clean install. So yeah must be that. Maybe someone else could test this as well.

Does anybody know a workaround or fix for this ? Hell i would even cheat myself horsewagons/opelblitz just so i dont have to restart the game from the start without limited stock settting.

Save your personal files and completly reinstall the game?!

Its weird that nobody ever came across this bug/feature whatever it is, i have not found a single mention on internet about it while i think its quite critical no matter if its bug or feature. And yes its the LIMITED STOCK thing in advanced settings when starting campaing. I now made few dozens of tests including test where i would only pick LIMITED STOCK while everything else on default (not even a single trait) and same issue, no transports to buy for inf/art/aa in purchase screen.

Is there any way how to edit this in save/core files ?

No transport sounds like the same bug when Limited Stock feature was released for the first time, and I think they have already fixed it with a patch later. What version are you playing?

I just registered to comment on this one.

I use version 1.2.0. and I have the exact same problem. So far I cursed a lot, but managed to make-do with artillery, AA and infantry without transports.

I also tried to check and uncheck in every possible combinations, but I also arrived to the result that Limited Stock deletes the transport panel.

This is even more frustrating because the console says I captured hundreds of transports.

Love the idea, small problem. Went to buy an infantry unit, it will not allow me to add transport units to said infantry, before or after buying them.

I have the same issue with artillery, AT, and AA, too. I started a SCW campaign with the limited stock option on, and bought a flak unit in mission 2 (now that there's a limited number of planes, it's a bit more important to have screens up.) When buying it I noticed that flak, AT, and artillery also don't have options for transports, which makes using them just about impossible. On the next mission I tried to upgrade to a transport on the unit, and there's no option to do so.

I tried to add transports via cheat codes, but it didn't work either - although I can't add transports via cheat code anywhere.

And it still didn't work.

However, I found a note that in 1.2.1 they fixed this exact problem, so I'll give it a try and will report back
