How to Take an Enemy Client-State's Capitol?

As Rome in the Persia scenario, I have a quest to capture all of the regions in Italia Superior and Inferior. I have all but Apulia. My problem is that Apulia is the capital of Tarentum, who is a client state of Sparta. If I declare war on Sparta and conquer Apulia, what are my options for permanent conquest? Can it be ceded to me by Sparta as part of ending the war? Tarentum also owns other territories in Asia Minor so I assume that they would remain a client state of Sparta and their capitol would just move. I would offer compensation for the peace treaty. Can Sparta cede Apulia to me without having to go to war?

Capitols can be taken just like any other region in a peace deal. Their capitol will be relocated to another region.

I was able to capture the enemy client-state capitol and since he no longer had any other regions it was finished right away.
