1. Overview
This is a tournament that included a group phaes and a knockout phase It is expected to be an intense tournament, so the time for each challenge is approximately two weeks, although in the case of the group stage there will be 6 weeks in which the matches can be held.
The tournament is divided into two periods and will start soon.
All players are welcome.
2. Periods
All DLCs are used, all armies and allies can be used as long as they fit into the time periods.
The tournament will be made up of 2 distinct periods rather than DLCs. The Periods are:
Classical 700 BC – 25 BC
Imperial and Early Dark Ages 25 BC – 600 AD
To enter all you need to do is simply post “I wish to enter” or similar. You must also include your choice of 3 armies and allies in the same post.
Only one army list can be chosen for each division. For example, only one Roman 105-25 BC can be chosen, however another player can choose Roman 199-106 BC.
It will be ensured that the armies are balanced and different.
3. Phases and groups
Each Period is subdivided into “A,” “B,” “C” groups etc. depending upon the number of players within said tournament. Up to 4-8 players will participate in each group.
The better 2 or 1 players from each groups (it depends on the numbre of gruoups) will pass for the knockout phase.
The knockout phase have quarterfinals, semifinals or final, depending on the number of participants. If there are 3 or 4 groups, there will be quarterfinals, if there are only 2 groups there will be semifinals, if there is only one group, they will go to the final.
4. Arranging challenges and battle Parameters
A thread will be published for each period. To start the challenges. Any of the players can launch challenges, within the theme of organizing matches of the relevant period, they must notify their opponent by private message. Players will be able to configure and perform the challenges in the order they wish, but within the deadlines stipulated for each phase. Challenges need to be created.
The first post will contain a list of players and their chosen armies for their games. If the challenge was set up incorrectly, the player who didn't set up the game will have the option to restart, but only on Turn 2. A game that has made it to Turn 3 will need to be played to the end. You'll need to post screenshots of the map and troop positions, scoring, and number of turns played.

It can be helpful to include a comment like “Challenge for Player A”
5. Map Re-rolls and absent players
Players have a limited number of map replays to find a suitable map for a match (up to 1 per player). After setting up a game, if you're not happy with the map, roll the map again. If a player chooses to keep the map that has been generated, it is their responsibility to move forward and participate in the battle. If they are not willing, they must accept a new roll (only one).
If a player does not respond to a challenge, it will be awarded to the player who created it (a test must be taken). If a player stops responding to turns. 30 points will be given to the last player who sent the turn and the battle will be considered won. To facilitate the management, if you want to go out or do not have time to finish your matches, you must notify. An explanation is not required. The purpose is that a reserve player can take the place. The results of completed rounds will carry over, so in the event that a player takes over in the second round, they will be required to play in the Pod that the player who left qualified for.
6. Scoring and reporting games
Scoring will be based upon the break level and by how close the battle was. The narrower the margin between players will result in scores rather close while an early decisive win will be wider.
Win: 60 + (enemy break% - winner break %)
Draw or Loss: (enemy break %)
Example:
pantherboy (Romans) (61%) vs CheAhn (Carthage) (48%)
pantherboy (48%) = 48pts
CheAhn 60 + (61% - 48%) = 73pts
Reporting results will be incumbent on the player who won the battle. They will be required to log into the Slitherine Forum and post the result publicly on the appropriate thread (e.g. Late Antiquity Eastern Conference Results). Results posted should be reported in the following format;
Pod (A/B/C etc.)
