Custom Multi-player Campaigns?

I have enjoyed playing multi-player scenarios and single-player campaigns but is it possible to have multi-player campaigns? Thanks in advance.
The short answer is no.
You can of course play several multiplayer scenarios in succession against the same player, but there are no core units/commanders/specialisation points carried over between scenarios.
