Hi all,
I was wondering if you need all dlc to enter tournaments? I was thinking of entering the field of glory 2 one but I only have the base game.
Also are they play by email?

In Field of Glory 2 you don't need any DLC to enter the tournament:

Anyone who has Field of Glory II can enter. You do not need to own any DLCs to enter.

They use Slitherine's multiplayer system (PBEM with central server). When the tournament stars, you are automatically paired with someone and the games "appear" in your multiplayer game list.

I signed up for a V&V tournament. I received an email that it was my turn. But when I sign on via the V&V program, it says that my opponent is me (Russianwolfe) and it is waiting for my opponent. What is happening? What should I do? And where is the tournament game? I need to make my move.

I'm still waiting on information. What is happening and how do I get access to the game.

Okay, now I am mad. I had just received notification that 2 of the PBEM games have finished. AND I NEVER WAS ABLE TO MAKE A MOVE!!!!! What is going on????? Why was I never able make a move???? Why aren't my questions being answered? What is going on? Is there anyone who can help me get this started? Right now the system is broken as far as I am concerned. I respond to a challenge, but I never have an opportunity to make a move. And then I receive notification that the game is over but I never had a chance to make a move. The system never gave me a chance to make a move. Is there a document that tells me how to use the PBEM system to play opponents? This is getting very frustrating.

Are you seeing games in your MP game list when you first login to MP? If you do not have any games in your list, where it is your turn, then it is possible that your opponent just didn't play their turn or the game at all. It can happen!

I see 6 games and two have my name as the opponent but every games says waiting for opponent. Nothing has changed and I am still not able to make a move. From the data I retrieved about PBEM games, some people have it working for them or is that just an illusion because no one is able to make a move?

The problem continues. All games are 'waiting of opponent' and two of the games have my name as the opponent.

I see 6 games and two have my name as the opponent but every games says waiting for opponent. Nothing has changed and I am still not able to make a move. Your username will suffice to start with, they can then check your games list.
