Able to play FOG II Medieval multiplayer with no problems since the last update last month. No problem this morning (local time) and then this afternoon I started getting "Unknown Error" every time I tried to log into Medieval multiplayer. No problems with FOGII multiplayer. I have rebooted my laptop several times. I access my games via steam so I have also uninstalled and re-installed FOGII Medieval. I still get "Unknown Error" logging into multiplayer. Please advise. Thanks for your help.

Not sure what is going on. I have logged into Medieval MP several times during this period with no problems.

I have notified those in charge of the PBEM server.

Hello same problem here with medieval , empires and panzercorps 2 , fog is still fonctionnal.

This issue is affecting some people but not others.

Would you mind telling us what country you are playing from?

I'm on the East Coast of the U.S.

Also like Lynx57 I am getting the same error on FOG Empires but not FOGII.

Apparently there was an error in the login system, affecting only certain accounts.

Your accounts have been corrected and you should be able to login again. If not, please let us know.

If anyone else encounters this issue, please report it here.

Am having the same problem. I try updating and get an error due to ftp file message. I've tried both from the opening screen and from my page.

That sounds like a different problem. Please email support@slitherine.co.uk. They should be able to help.

Sorry just saw this thread. I get authorisation failed message and have tried restarting my computer.

I get message 'Server cannot validate your details.'

I get this "Unknown Error", too. I got it last year and mailed to the support but never got an answer (or it got lost in spam). It vanished a day or two later.

If it was before 03 Feb 2022, the issue then was fixed. If since then, it seems to have fixed itself for you now.

If it recurs, please email support@slitherine.co.uk again.

This issue has now started for me. Reported to support but nothing heard back.

Is it still occurring? If not, was probably a server glitch.

It happens from time to time this week is the third time!
