Hi I was hoping to stream some games using obs but keep getting a black screen.Other games seem to work fine. Anyone had this problem or know a fix?

What specific games are you trying to stream? There is a great variety of engines and approaches.

shadow empires .decisive campaigns barbarossa, strategic command world at war, valor and victory. I did get Panzer corp 2 to work after the game started. Any other game I try seems to work fine and I have tried a lot of the usual obs fixes. What am I missing?

IIRC those are games which are likely using Windows GDI etc. Perhaps the streaming software is more focused on DX/OGL games?

I got it sorted the games will not show up on game capture obs so try monitor capture it worked for me. hopefully this will help anyone with the same problem in the future.
