The third round of the Northern Doubles is due to take place on Sunday 14th June.

All are welcome - it is to be held at the Derby club at the Royal British Legion, 85 Chellaston Road, Allenton, Derby, DE24 9AF

Players to Arrive at 08:15 for a 08:45 start. Despite being the third round this is in effect a one-off doubles competition, so you Southerners who wouldn't normally attend have no excuse.

Somewhat surprisingly I have actually received some army lists prior to the deadline, which I think only one person has managed in the FoG competition so far this year...

Don't suppose we have a list yet it being the Northern Doubles and all.............

I would not be surprised if two or three teams have yet to even send an entry in.

Don't expect a list of runners and riders until you get to the hall on Sunday. I think the record for list submission is the Saturday night before the comp.

I normally put up the Runners and Riders on the Friday night.

Although by the time we arrive on Sunday morning that has usually changed.... Hence the reluctance....

No worries just wondered if we had an odd number........ of teams that is not odd people.

We currently have 11. Although anything could happen betwen now and Sunday, and probably will....
