I have a new laptop but cannot see a way to install Field Of Glory 2 onto it.
I can see a link to the latest mod but this requires the original game to be installed - where do I download this from?

Many thanks.

Terry

Assuming you already own the standalone Slitherine version, you need to log into the Slitherine site, go to your "My Page" and download it (and any DLCs you own) from there.

If you have any difficulty, please email support@slitherine.co.uk

I am about to do the same--get a new laptop to take FOGII with me. Right now it is on my Windows 10 desktop. Did the posted solution work?

Yes, you can easily download the main game and dlcs from Slitherine off your page, which shows all the games and dlcs you've bought from them. You'll need to enter your serial numbers again for fresh installs, so make sure you have those handy. To save some time and hassle, you might want to save these files to dvd/usb/back HD.

I too am migrating to a new laptop. I have successfully downloaded and updated the base game. I have also downloaded all the DLCs.

All the DLCs have installed with no problem, except for Swifter Than Eagles, which tells me I have to update FoG 11 to 1.6.6.

As I have updated past that version, what do I do now?

You probably need to dl and install the latest patch, which you can find a link for in the forums.

Thank you. The game is updated to 1.6.15. Is there a specific patch for Swifter Than Eagles? It is strange that this problem has arisen only with this (last) dlc

It won't work if you used an installer earlier than v1.6.6. (The updater only updates the changes since the last full version - currently v1.6.6)

You need to first run the v1.6.6 installer: (Which was the last full version)

FieldOfGloryII-SetupRelease-v1.6.6.zip

followed by the v1.6.15 updater, which updates v1.6.6 to 1.6.15.

It won't work correctly if you try to update versions earlier than 1.6.6. You need to first install v1.6.6

You will find the downloads on your "My Page" on the slitherine.com site:

If you get stuck, please email support@slitherine.co.uk

Is it possible to play on different PCs or are you only allowed to have one registered? To be clear I usually play from home but thinking of getting another PC for when I am away from Home. Could I play the same game from both machines or is only one allowed? I seem to recall having problems before. Thanks in advance.

You can install on multiple PCs (e.g. a home PC and a laptop for travel) without any issues. You'll need to login to MP with the same credentials, of course.

Cheers
