When writing the texts of your scenarios in French, be aware that the French langage, the auto-correction of many writing softwares and the auto-correction of MacOS use the curved apostrophe, for example :
"L’ami"
...but FoG2 like other softwares won't recognise it and will display :
"Lami"
... so you have to use the straight apostrophe in your texts and write "L'ami" so the game will display :
"L'ami"

It is the same in English.

You should really use a text editor rather than a word processor for editing game text files. The auto-"correction" of ' to the curved apostrophe (which FOG cannot display and simply ignores) by WORD is a pain in the ass.

Always check all your text in game, just in case.
