Symbols which occur on units during game

Hi All;
Meaning of symbols which occur during game
Watched the tutorial from the game and Youtube, and have played through Drive on Moscow about 4 times, but I'm perplexed by some of symbols which pop up.
Like on an isolated unit , the yellow flashing triangles which appear on all four sides?
Units wit little dots flashing or with little circles on them?
Panzer units with a yellow " Y" , are they out of gas ??
Rules speak of these things but do not indicate what the symbols would be. ,Like with the 4 flashing triangles, does that mean unit is out of supply, or can't fight? when I attack them they are quite resistant !
