I've been playing General Edition since it was released in Mar 2020 almost 2 years ago, and although I've been updating to new versions, I haven't yet bought any of the DLC's for it.
Here's the current DLC Store list, the SCW of course contains new units etc, but I'm just wondering what's in the rest of them?
Do they contain new units and other new stuff that I should want to have?

Any new units added for DLCs is included in the updates. Everyone gets them.
There is one units.cvs for all.
Old scenarios are not updated with the new units, bur your purchase screen is.
The DLCs add new campaigns to play, that is it. If you don't want to play them you don't need to buy them.

You can also as you know transfer your core units over from each Campaign which can get you attached to your units so if you loose a unit in a battle you put your fist through the monitor ..

Details for each individual campaign are also out there to find, but these are nice, short previews.

I also wrote (most) of each of these statements, for players to get a glimpse into the various DLC's contents.
Thank you very much for your work, especially for the additional campaign on the Spanish Civil War. Tell me please, is it planned to create new DLS in the future, where players will have the opportunity to play for the Soviet Union, Great Britain or other participants in World War 2?

At the moment we can choose to play as any of the countries below in the Random Mission Generator-
and in the Editor we can choose most of these-
Example 1- Polish units
Example 2- French units

Spike. I love the DLC's especially 39,40,41. the Spanish Civil War is a different animal. German equiptment sux and you don't control your Spanish Ally's infantry. Its very easy to run out of prestige. also, takes forever for all the pieces to move so u need to keep the pedal to the metal, i.e. your finger on the space bar. on the plus side its a challenge even at the lower level, you can capture some great equiptment and you can purchase and fight with good Italian infantry and equiptment but, due to the low prestige pool and the fact most of the Italian units you purchase r only available for the current battle, its expensive and tricky. there isn't any German Infantry at all. you have to maximize equiptment capture/surrender in the DLC's but I've always done that and primarily fight with captured Tanks. I haven't revisited nor played the original game since the intro of the DLC's. in fact, Im pissed and don't understand why the announced the Pacific all the way back in July, yes 7 months ago, and its still unavailable.

That's because... those who are really developing the Game... are too-busy drinking Japanese 'Sake'...[Rice-Wine]… and are being regularly entertained by Japanese Geisha Girls... who are a class of female Japanese performance artists and entertainers trained in traditional Japanese performing arts styles, such as dance, music and singing, as well as being proficient conversationalists and hosts.

Yes although the SCW is interesting, it was historically just a sideshow and I'm surprised the devs chose to focus their efforts on it instead of opting to devote themselves to the Pacific.
Regarding delays, when PC2 was in development some years ago I posted a question to the devs a year before it was released asking what the delay was, and they said it was the Campaigns side of it that was causing delay.
So I replied saying "In that case forget the Campaigns and release PC2 now, then bring out the Campaigns later as future DLC's", but they chose not to do that, so we had to wait another year before PC2 was released.
No doubt the Campaigns are what's holding up the Pacific release too.
Personally I'm not a big fan of Campaigns as i prefer creating my own sensational scenarios in the Random Mission generator and in the Editor, but at the moment there are no Jap units or US Marines in there, so I'm unable to create any Pacific scens.
Suggestion to the devs- Release Pacific War now with just a few stock scens and bring out the Campaign for it as a future DLC.
That way, we'd have Jap and Marine units in the PC2 database and me and others can begin churning out Pacific scens in the Editor for the enjoyment of all..
US Marines on Okinawa-

Before delivering new units, they must be tested. What better than a new campaign for this ?

On my hard drive..
Here's one I've been working on- Iwo Jima- but its nowhere near complete yet, I'm having to use stock US and German units until the devs make available Marines and Jap units.
Slith told me recently they're thinking of creating a PC2 "User-created Scenarios" section where me and other creators can put our stuff for discussion and download etc..

And here's a fictional scen I've been working on, human US units invading a German coastal area.
Jerry will be a tough nut to crack because he's in Forts and well dug in at entrench level 10 and is under "hold position" orders which means he won't leave his cosy trenches to make suicide attacks.
This is turn 1 and the US player has 3 battleships for shore bombardment, and is now going to purchase whatever he likes to hurl onto the beach such as infantry, tanks, planes, knives, sharp sticks etc.
It'll also be interesting to see what AI jerry will buy in his 3 rear deployment areas to counterattack with..

There is already a Scenario Design section for the scenarios or campaigns under construction...
An "Official Community Crate" section could be useful for completed scenarios or campaigns

Yes, we need a "User Created Scenarios" section to post our masterpieces for download by members.

I have been wondering about this idea-concept for years!... its about time... actually... "way over-due"... that this consideration is starting to finally be dealt with!.
