units embarked in trains can capture???

This just happened to me in the tournament. A train coming from 20 hexes away, moved in and captured a VH.

You will say it's my fault I left that hex unguarderd or the railway unblocked, but this is simply because I didn't expect this move to be possible. Not sure if in PC1 or PG2, trains were not able to enter enemy cities. So I got stucked with that rule that actually seemed normal and fair.

I mean from a gameplay point of view, when units movement is limited, you just throw all the strategy to the bin when you allow a train to move in from 200 miles away. AND capture. AND deploy units right away on the captured hex. This is just bs.

If you had no form of defense of the VH and no ZoC on the railroad you kind of asked for it :D

From 20 hexes away? Does this sounds fair to you? Or realistic in any way?

In previous versions this didn't happen, train are supposed to help with logistic, bring units fast to front, etc, not capture enemy cities, they should not play an offensive role...

Certain things in the game are there to add realism - Planes have a limited flying distance, infantry units traveling in a truck cannot move and unload AND attack unless they are assigned the "Fast Deployment Hero" ... so perhaps for realism a train should not be able to capture a victory hex unless perhaps they have the fast deployment hero which means they would be in the right place at the right time especially because if a truck was sent in there the infantry would remain in the truck unless it had fast deployment or if the city was within the dismount range ... Thing is would a commander send in a train to a known enemy town with soldiers stuck in and loaded on a train unable to fight until the unloaded from the train .. probably not so it should not be allowed ...
